Hard Rock Café is a chain of Restobar inspired by Rock Music.The name comes from the album of "The Doors" named "Morrison Hotel". The opening of Hard Rock Cafe Hyderabad marks India’s fifth Hard Rock Cafe location after the Mumbai cafe (September 2006) ,Bengaluru (December 2007), Pune (January 2009) and New Delhi (June 2009).The place is spread over a sprawling 8,000-square foot cafe with three distinct sections a 200-seat restaurant, live concert venue and signature retail Rock Shop complete with Hard Rock’s limited-edition merchandise.The rock memorabilia collected over years are displayed for rock lovers viewing.There are more than 70 pieces aesthetically displayed at different heights in designed cases on the wall (nicely illuminated as well).

The entrance here is only from the basement of the GVK Complex.The place is very spacious with a lot of space between tables as well. The ambiance is good with high ceiling, a wooden floor and multi level seating.
The menu consists of mainly American food - pastas, salads, burgers, sandwiches and fries. The food items and categories have interesting names, mostly influenced by Rock legends and songs.Each table has a dedicated waiter though ours looked confused.We ordered Pita pockets(infact the waiter was confused as to which bread is used for the same),Berry cooler- Must try (Pomograneate and rasberry syrup with lots of lime and lime soda) and coffee.

Food here was really nothing exceptional though good.The music was very average.Didn't get loud or Rocky music from a place which calls itself Hard Rock Cafe. Also the music played wasn't live music videos being sung by rock legends on TV. Dont really know if it is the timing that went wrong for us (we got there by 17:00 hrs) which isn't a typical rocky time I suppose.Rates are high here and they took exceptionally long time to get the cheque. The waiter even almost dropped some sauce on us while clearing the tables.All in all service was really bad.The rock too has clothing and articles which are on the higher side.

Need to try this place at a later hour for the real feel.

Getting Ready The All Hearts Tour by Shreya Ghoshal, on 30th November at LB Stadium in Hyderabad was a concert to look forward to. Our first experience of a Shreya Ghoshal concert, we took a less tiring approach to travelling by metro to the concert, avoiding the traffic induced pressure, anxieties and long waits. Travel by metro was a breeze. For the concert scheduled to start at 7 PM, we reached the stadium around 6:15 PM. The stadium was a short walk from the “Assembly” metro station. At the stadium, quickly headed to the ticket counters to gather the wrist band for entry into the designated viewing areas. A gold class ticket with seating that cost Rs.2,300/ticket, was too far from the stage, though the viewing area was within the grounds and not the stadium seating (which was silver).
