People who swear by the Google search engine, here comes BING

Microsoft unveiled its new search engine called Bing (www.bing.com) which they claim is more attractive than "Live search". Bing means a certain answer, or a response to a query, in Chinese.

Some of the features are:
  • Autosuggest feature that guesses what you are trying to type.
  • Document preview which lets you look over the search result and preview the sites content.
  • Bing organizes search results into categories. For eg. if you search for a favourite author categories are listed on the top left of the page called "explore pane" and the tab like links called "quick tabs" lets you filter by albums, biography, images etc.
  • For some queries, a single “Best Match” results may appear.These are designed to show the very best site in cases where Microsoft is super confident you only need a single link.
  • With Bing™, you don't have to leave what you're doing and open another browser window. Your search experience just got better, whether you're searching from MSN®, Windows® Internet Explorer® 8, Messenger, Windows Live™ Hotmail®, or many of your other favorite places online. It's a new search experience that lets you find what you're looking for right from where you are.
Though it gets a lil difficult to get over Google search, I think Bing is not such a bad option either. So next time you wanna search something just BING.

Getting Ready The All Hearts Tour by Shreya Ghoshal, on 30th November at LB Stadium in Hyderabad was a concert to look forward to. Our first experience of a Shreya Ghoshal concert, we took a less tiring approach to travelling by metro to the concert, avoiding the traffic induced pressure, anxieties and long waits. Travel by metro was a breeze. For the concert scheduled to start at 7 PM, we reached the stadium around 6:15 PM. The stadium was a short walk from the “Assembly” metro station. At the stadium, quickly headed to the ticket counters to gather the wrist band for entry into the designated viewing areas. A gold class ticket with seating that cost Rs.2,300/ticket, was too far from the stage, though the viewing area was within the grounds and not the stadium seating (which was silver).
