Wanna savor the taste of Biriyani and Arabic food and the thought of negotiating the killer traffic at Mehdipatnam puts you off, not to worry, you can now eat the same stuff in Kondapur, thanks to the opening of the Grand Four seasons. This is the second branch of the quaint eatery (the first being at tolichowki).The restaurant is located on the 3rd floor and the ambience is a lot better than Tollichowki - Wooden floor, asymmetrically themed chairs, lots of glass, mirrors and decor in various shades of neon .

This restaurant is largely famous for it's variety of culinary options. While this restaurant is known to be a paradise for biryani lovers the Arabic /Lebanese platters are also worth a try. The biryani here is yummy with the right dash of spices and comes with the complimentary mirchi ka salan & raita as is the norm in Hyderabad. The starter Chicken crispy was served with a garlic dip (which was refilled time and again). One of the specialty dishes here is KHABSA (Arabic version of biriyani) with Lamb and non Indian spices. Also a must try is the Hummus (chick pea and sesame paste), Muttabel (Eggplant puree cooked to perfection) and Fattoush and Tabbouleh (light and crispy salads).Mango rabri and Umali (a milk based Lebanese dessert) shouldn't be missed. The best part of the menu card here is that it has a graphical presentation of the dishes which makes it easier for the customer to choose among the varied Arabic and Lebanese dishes. All in all good food served at not so exorbitant rates.

Probably next time we need to go in a large group to try their kebab platter which looked delectable. Truly a gourmet's delight.

Getting Ready The All Hearts Tour by Shreya Ghoshal, on 30th November at LB Stadium in Hyderabad was a concert to look forward to. Our first experience of a Shreya Ghoshal concert, we took a less tiring approach to travelling by metro to the concert, avoiding the traffic induced pressure, anxieties and long waits. Travel by metro was a breeze. For the concert scheduled to start at 7 PM, we reached the stadium around 6:15 PM. The stadium was a short walk from the “Assembly” metro station. At the stadium, quickly headed to the ticket counters to gather the wrist band for entry into the designated viewing areas. A gold class ticket with seating that cost Rs.2,300/ticket, was too far from the stage, though the viewing area was within the grounds and not the stadium seating (which was silver).
